    Mohammad Asif World champion defeated Thaha Irshath in a once sided contest by (99(67)-03, 73-46, 85-38, 109(50)-6, 74(67)-0) in the final. 3RD SAARC SNOOKER CHAMPIONSHIP 2025 was held form 7 TO 10 JANUARY 2025 in COLOMBO, SRI LANKA.

    Former great cricketers’ of pakistan  Inzamam-ul-Haq, Misbah-ul-Haq, Mushtaq Mohammad and Saeed Anwar have been named in the Pakistan cricket board(PCB) hall of fame , joining Abdul Qadir, AH Kardar, Fazal Mahmood, Hanif Mohammad, Imran Khan, Javed Miandad, Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Younis Khan and Zaheer Abbas in the illustrious group.

    The four icons of the game were inducted following an independent and transparent voting process, which was participated by Wasim Akram, Zaheer Abbas (both PCB Hall of Famers), Azhar Ali (former Pakistan captain), Bismah Maroof, Nain Abidi (both former women international cricketers), Majid Bhatti, Mohi Shah, Mohammad Yaqoob, Nauman Niaz, Sawera Pasha and Zahid Maqsood (cricket journalists/analysts).

    Sohail Adnan of Pakistan win British junior open squash championship 2025 after 18 long years for Pakistan on 06 January, 2025 at Birmingham, England .

    In a thrilling finale, Sohail Adnan defeated Egyptian player Elmoghazy in a nail-biting contest 3-2 with a game score of (11-5, 5-11, 6-11, 11-7, 11-5) and clinched the title of U-13 category.His impressive performance left the crowd in awe.

    This historic win marks a significant milestone for Pakistan, as Sohail brings home the U-13 BJO title, ending a long wait of 18 years since Nasir Iqbal’s triumph in 2007.

    Pakistan Squash Federation congratulates Sohail Adnan on his outstanding achievement and looks forward to seeing him shine brighter in the world of squash!.

    The Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) is pleased to inform you that the 10th Begum Kulsum Saifullah Khan National Ranking Tennis Championships 2024 concluded at the PTF-SDA Tennis Complex, Islamabad.

    The closing ceremony was graced by HE Ladislav Steinhubel, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Pakistan, as the Chief Guest, and Senator Salim Saifullah Khan, Patron PTF, as the Guest of Honour. The ceremony was also attended by prominent figures including Mr Anwar Saifullah Khan, Mr Javed Saifullah Khan, Usman Saifullah Khan, Asad Saifullah Khan (members of the Saifullah Family) and Mr Qamar Zaman ex-Chairman NAB, Mr Hassan Baig, Mr. Tufail Cheema -Secretary-ITA, Col. Zia-ud-din Tufail (Secretary General, PTF), Col. Gul Rehman (Director, PTF Complex), as well as a large gathering of tennis players, coaches, parents, media representatives, and tennis lovers.

    During the ceremony, one minute of silence was observed to pay respects to the passing away of the father-in-law of Mr. Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi-President-PTF.

    In the closing Ceremony, A cash award of Rs. 25,000/- was presented to young tennis prodigy Hassan Usmani for his remarkable achievements in U-14 tournaments held in Saudi Arabia and Aaghabat, showcasing his promising talent on international platforms.

    Additionally, a shield was awarded to Mr Mahboob Khan, the longest-serving coach of Pakistan and a USPTR-certified coach, for his invaluable contributions to the development of tennis in the country.

    The Final Results are as follows.

    Men’s Singles Final:
    Muzammil Murtaza defeated Muhammad Shoaib 6-3, 6-2 to claim the title.
    Ladies Singles Final:
    Amna Ali Qayum overcame Soha Ali 6-3, 6-4 to secure the championship.
    Boys’ 14 & Under Final:
    Hassan Usmani triumphed over Ruhab Faisal 6-2, 6-0 to win the title.
    Boys’ 12 & Under Final:
    Shayan Afridi defeated Rashid Ali 6-1, 6-0 to emerge victorious.

    The Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) is delighted to announce the commencement of the 10th Begum Kulsum Saifullah Khan National Ranking Tennis Championships 2024, held at the PTF-SDA Tennis Complex, Islamabad from 29th Dec-2024 to 5th January, 2025.
    This prestigious tournament is organized annually to honour the memory of the late Begum Kulsum Saifullah Khan, mother of PTF Patron Senator Salim Saifullah Khan.

    Speaking about the event, Senator Salim Saifullah Khan expressed his deep emotional connection to the tournament, stating that it refreshes cherished memories of his late mother. He also extended his best wishes to all participants. The Saif Group of Companies sponsors the event.

    Mr. Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi, President-PTF, and Col. Zia-ud-din Tufail, Secretary-General-PTF, conveyed their best wishes to all players participating in this event.

    A large number of players, including Pakistan’s top-ranked athletes such as Aqeel Khan, Muhammad Shoaib, Muzammil Murtaza, Muhammad Abid, Barkatullah, Shahzad Khan, Yousaf Khalil, Heera Ashiq, Meheq Khokhar, Amna Ali Qayum, Sheeza Sajid, and Soha Ali, are competing in this mega event.

    More than 200 entries from all over Pakistan have been received for competitions in  six different categories:
     Men’s Singles, Men’s Doubles, 

     Ladies Singles,  Boys’ 18 & Under Singles,  Boys’ 14 & Under Singles,  Boys’ 12 & Under Singles

    Mohammad Ali Larosh and Ghazala Siddique clinch Gold in Chairman POF Board National ranking badminton championship

    Mohammad Ali Larosh clinched Men’s Single and Men’s Double titles of the Chairman POF Board National Ranking Badminton Championships that concluded here on Sunday whereas Ghazala Siddique win Gold in women’s single category. Larosh from Pakistan WAPDA was pairing with Raja Zulqarnain Haider of Pakistan Army in doubles’ final.

    In the men’s singles final, Mohammad Ali Larosh outclassed Irfan Saeed in straight games 2-0 without any resistance. Larosh won the first game after conceding 13 points, as the final score-line was 21-13, 21-14. Mohammad Kashif Azad (HI) (M) Director General Commercial POF Wah was the chief guest on this occasion and distributed trophies and prizes amongst the top players.

    Men’s Singles: Mohammad Ali Larosh (Wapda) beat Irfan Saeed (Wapda) 21-13, 21-14

    Women’s Singles: Ghazala Siddique (Wapda) beat Mahoor Shahzad (Wapda) retired hurt (21-12, 4-1)

    Men’s Doubles: Raja Zulqarnain Haider (Army) & Mohammad Ali Larosh (Wapda) beat Awais Zahid & Zunain Javed (Wapda) 21-18, 21-16

    Women’s Doubles: Saima Waqas (Wapda) & Ammarah Ishtiaq (Army) beat Palwasha Bashir (Sindh) & Ghazala Siddique (Wapda) 21-15, 12-21, 21-10.

    kHURRAM SHEHZAD AWAN : FIFA administration has released the FIFA club world cup 20125 schedule on Saturday 07 December, 2024.

    According to the schedule, event is starting from 14 June to 13 July 2025 . There are 32 teams and 8 groups including 4 teams in each group accordingly. Opening match to be stand alone fixture on Saturday 14 June, 2025 . It has also been decided that the opening match will be a stand-alone fixture, with the host country’s representative, Inter Miami CF, kicking off the new FIFA Club World Cup™ in style at their hometown 65,500-seat Hard Rock Stadium against Al Ahly FC on Saturday, 14 June 2025 at 21:00 local time. MetLife Stadium in New York New Jersey will not only see the new FIFA Club World Cup Trophy lifted on Sunday, 13 July 2025, but will also host the two semi-finals and one of the quarter-finals.

    FIFA President Gianni Infantino said: “The paths for the 32 teams have been set and we now know at what time and where, among 12 top-class stadiums, we will enjoy the 48 exciting group stage clashes. Together with another 15 matches in the knockout stage, this match schedule sets 63 dates in the diary of every football fan – those living in the US, traveling from abroad to these beautiful cities to support their clubs, or following live and for free from every corner of the world via DAZN and FIFA+.
