    Hasan Ali Joins Kings as Imad Wasim Heads to Islamabad in PSL 9

    KARACHI : Karachi Kings, winners of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020, today announced a significant trade deal with Islamabad United that sees the departure of Imad Wasim and joining of sensational fast bowler Hasan Ali in the Kings Squad.

    In return for Imad Wasim, Karachi Kings have secured the services of Hasan Ali from Islamabad United. Hasan Ali, a force to be reckoned with in the HBL PSL, made his debut in 2016 and was a pivotal part of the triumphant Peshawar Zalmi squad in the 2017 season. Hassan Ali is the second highest wicket taker in the league with 94 wickets in 72 matches,

    ASSOCIATE COLLEGE FOR WOMEN GUJJAR KHAN WON INTER COLLEGES TUG OF WAR COMPETITION

    ISLAMABAD (Muhammad Hussain) : Gujjar Khan won the inter colleges Tug of war competition after defeating Govt Associate college for women Gawalmandi by 2-0 at divisional public school and college Rawalpindi.

    Total number of 18 teams from the district have participated in the event which was organized by the govt post graduate college for women Dhoke Kala Khan Rawalpindi under the supervision of Principal Ghazala Yasmin.

    In the first semifinal of the event Govt Associate college for women Gawalmandi defeated Govt Associate College for women Jhanda Cheechi and in the second semi final Govt Associate college for women Gujjar Khan defeated Govt Associate college for women Block F.

    Closing ceremony of the event was witnessed by Principal Govt Associate College for women Ghazala Yasmin associated with Principal Iram Ashar, Almas Ashraf, Aasia, Principal DPS Yasin Mirza, Divisional Focal person Samawia Akhtar .

    Chief Guest of the closing ceremony Deputy Director Colleges have distributed the prizes among the successful Participants.

    India : Glenn Maxwell smashed 104 runs in just 48 balls and snatched the victory from world cup runner ups India on Tuesday. Glenn Maxwell is one of the best hard-hitters in the world who recently made 202 runs against Afghanistan on 8th wicket and single handedly won the match in ICC World cup 2023.

    There are rumours that Maxwell signing up for the PSL 9 draft would surely take the league to the whole next level as he is one of the most in-demand players of the shortest format, it must be kept in mind that these are rumours and there has been no confirmation about it.

    PCB ANNOUNCED MANAGEMENT FOR PAKISTAN TEAM TOUR OF AUSTRALIA

    Lahore: Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the Team Management for the upcoming Test tour to Australia, which is scheduled to take place from December 2023 to January 2024.

    The management team includes Naveed Akram Cheema (Team manager), Mohammad Hafeez (Director – Pakistan men’s cricket team), Adam Hollioake (batting coach), Simon Grant Helmot (high performance coach), Umar Gul (fast bowling coach), Saeed Ajmal (spin bowling coach), Abdul Majeed (fielding coach), Mansoor Rana (assistant team manager), Shahid Aslam (assistant batting coach), Drikus Saaiman (strength and conditioning coach/Trainer), Cliffe Deacon (physiotherapist), Talha Ejaz (team analyst), Lt Col (Rtd) Akhtar Hussain (security manager), Raza Rashid Kitchlew (media manager), Ammar Ahsan (videographer), Dr Sohail Saleem (team doctor) and Malang Ali (team masseur). 

    The Pakistan cricket team will play their first Test match against Australia in Perth from 14 to 18 December, followed by a Test match in Melbourne, from 26 to 30 December. Sydney will host the last game of the tour from 3 to 7 January, 2024.

    ISLAMABAD: Chief of Air Staff International Squash tournament will be commencing from 30 November to 4 December at Mushaf Squash Complex Islamabad.

    In a media talk on Tuesday he said “Squash players from Malaysia,Egypt, Hong Kong  Spain and other countries are participating in this mega event, we must acknowledge that Pakistan Air force under the patronage of Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sindhu has been extending tremendous support to Pakistn Squash Federation for the games promotion and we are hopeful for bringing the glory back to the country”

    WINNING PRIZE: The tournament carries US$ 12 thousand for Men and US$ 6 thousand for Women.

    Key Dates: Chief of  Air Staff International Squash championship will continue at Mushaf Squash Complex Islamabad from 30 November to 4 December.

    Islamabad: Chairman of the PFF Normalisation Committee (NC), Haroon Malik held a productive meeting with His Excellency Nawaf Bin Said Al-Malki, the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan, in Islamabad to discuss collaborative efforts to enhance football standards in both nations.

    During the meeting, the two leaders appreciated the previously signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between NC Chairman Haroon Malik and President of the Saudi Football Federation, Yasser Al Misehal, in Saudi Arabia, which will prove a game-changer in Pakistan football. 

    Addressing the occasion, the Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan, His Excellency Nawaf Bin Said Al-Malki, said, “This is a great initiative by the Saudi Football Federation that will not only benefit Pakistan football in the long run but also provide opportunities for players and coaches to enhance their skills, ultimately excelling at higher levels. We hope that Pakistani players and coaches will derive maximum benefit from this MoU, contributing to the emergence of football superstars in Pakistan.”

    Islamabad : In National T20 cup Lahore Blues and Islamabad win their matches on Sunday.

    At National Bank stadium , Lahore blues defeated Karachi whites by five runs. After winning the toss Lahore blues made 159-8 in 20 overs, Imran Butt scored 54, Hussain Talat 45 whereas Aftab Ibrahim from Karachi Whites got 2-15. in reply Karachi whites scored 154-7 in 20 overs Ammad Alam made 47 runs while Kashif Bhatti got 2 wickets for 29 runs.

    in second match at National Bank stadium , Islamabad defeated Dera Murad Jamali by two wickets. Murad Jamali win the toss and elected to bat first and made 127 all out in 19.1 overs, Zubair Khan scored 46 runs whereas Umair Afridi from Islamabad got 4 wickets for 24 runs and Musta khan ends his spell with 3-22. in reply Islamabad made 138-8 in 20 over with the tremendous knock of 51 runs by Hammad Siddiqui whereas Saleem Mal got 2 wickets with 26 runs.

    INDIA : Australia lost second T20 of five matches series with India at Green fields cricket Stadium on Sunday. India made 235-4 in 20 overs with tremendous batting by Ruturaj Gaikwad 58 (43), Yashaswi Jaiswal 53(25) and Ishan Kishan 52(32) respectively. N Elvis of Australia got 3 wickets and conceited 45 runs in 4 overs.

    In reply of huge score on board Australia made 191-1 in 20 overs M Stoinis made 45 and wicket keeper batsman Wade made 42 runs. P. krishna and R.Bishnoi got 3 wickets each respectively.

    RESULT : India won the second match of 5 T20 matches series and leads the series 2-0.
