Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) appointed famous match fixer Salman Butt once again in the new cricket setup with the role of Consultant of Chief Selector Wahab Riaz.
Salman butt was the ringleader of the three Pakistani match fixer who were banned for spot-fixing during the 2010 Lords Test on England Tour. Salman butt was confessed to his crime during the investigation and was banned for 10 years by International Cricket Council (ICC).
CONVICTED GAMBLER NOW AID IN TEAM SELECTION:
Salman butt is among the consultants appointed by the Pakistan cricket board to support Chief selector Wahab Riaz. Adding a convicted criminal as a consultant to the Chief Selector is a big joke with Pakistan Cricket and this action has created new suspicions, which has left cricket fans in a tizzy that another match fixing incident should not take place.
QUESTION TO THE CHAIRMAN PCB:
1, Pakisan Cricket Board Chairman Zaka Ashraf is asked by cricket fans if there is no other qualified player in Pakistan who would have been made a consultant while a convicted criminal has been appointed to an important position.
2. Can Pakistan cricket suffer from another incident like the Lord’s Test, which will bring Pakistan into disrepute?
3. Is the chairman Cricket board not wronging the country by appointing Salman butt, who defamed Pakistan in the world by match fixing, to an important position in the cricket board?
PCB SHOULD REVIEW HIS DECISION
After the appointment of spot fixing convicted Salman butt as a consultant to Chief Selector, now a news discussion around the cricketing world started about the involvement of match fixers in the new role of CONSULTANT.
In order to save Pakistan cricket from a new disgrace in the world, The Pakistan cricket board should review its decision and immediately remove salman butt from the post.
